Lauren Haig is a freelance graphic designer from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree. While her focus has been in illustration for the past three years or so, she is most passionate about designing for special events and other printed media.
Lauren was first inspired to be an artist from the cartoons she watched as a child. She wanted to be the illustrator who created the next Disney princess. This led her to the graphic design field where she discovered that there was more to it than she originally thought. She developed new skills and continued to advance her drawing abilities, going on to illustrate a children's book during her undergraduate career. Her work has been displayed at Xtana in Pittsburgh PA, Bottle Works-Ethnic Arts Center in Johnstown PA, and at Miller Gallery in Indiana PA.
Lauren is currently seeking employment as a graphic designer within the Pittsburgh area.
